Welcome To Topline Currans
Topline Currans was established in 1952 by Tom Curran who had worked in the hardware business for the previous 15 years. Topline Currans remains a family run business today, based in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. We strive to serve the local community by delivering market leading ranges in all categories of the business.
WHAT WE DO
We provide a full range of light and heavy hardware products, housewares, home furnishings, paint, bathrooms, and general building materials to both DIY enthusiasts and the construction industry. We give expert advice and offer a free daily delivery service within the area.
OUR HISTORY
Family run for three generations, Topline Currans was first established by Tom Curran senior in Grattan Square in 1952. He was joined in the business shortly afterwards by his wife Kathleen. There they worked tirelessly together to build a successful hardware business. In 1977 they added a furniture store at 16 Grattan Square, which was run by younger family members. In 2007 the family opened a new, purpose built premises at Shandon, adjacent to the shopping centre. This allowed all of the business to be run at one location and to expand the hardware and housewares departments.
The Local Community
We pride ourselves on the consistent provision of a very high level of service to the community, as well as local employment. We currently employ 36 staff members. We are committed to making our store and services accessible to everyone.
The Topline Group
In 1990 we joined the Topline group with a view to benefiting from better pricing and support. The group’s bulk purchasing power allows us to compete with domestic and international chains, and offers our customers more competitive prices. With the group’s support, Topline Currans also undertook a full store revamp to provide our customers with an improved shopping experience.
